There's just one mistake, though. This is not illegal - it's fully legal. The law isn't about the law, and hasn't been for some time. The law is about who you are. If you're a favoured person, everything is legal, and if you're a disfavoured person, everything is illegal.

Yeah, some politicians wrote some words down, but those are mostly used as tie-breakers in cases where all parties in a conflict have equal amounts of favour.
