Thanks for mentioning Volla! It's a great OEM of open-source smartphones and tablets, with lots of cool solutions for embedded AI, cloud without data centers, and meshnet.
@vollaficationist @FediFollows@social.growyourown.serviceVolla sells closed source hardware products. Using an open source operating system on closed source hardware doesn't make it open source. Open source would mean the hardware and firmware is open source which it clearly isn't. It's not even closer to being open source than mainstream devices.
