How long are you contagious with COVID-19?

Here's what the science says:
➡️ Most people are infectious for ~10 days
➡️ ~80% of people test positive for 5 days after symptom onset
➡️ Only ~30% of people who test positive have a fever
➡️ Presence of symptoms is an unreliable indicator of infectiousness
➡️ Individuals can be infectious before the onset of symptoms
➡️ Asymptomatic cases represent around 20 to 40% of all infections

The best way to tell when you are not infectious anymore is to have consecutive negative tests for COVID. And if you are unable to stay home the entire time, it's critical to wear an N95 mask to prevent spreading the virus to others.

Do you @luckytran know what these scientists say about survival rate of CoVid-19 vaccines?
@gfkdsgn Staggeringly high. So preposterously high.

70% of the planet or 5.6 billion people have received COVID vaccination. Even if a million people died from the vaccine (an unconscionable horror at least one if not two orders of magnitude too high an estimation) that would mean your chance of survival after vaccination is still 99.98%.

So you @municipaladhesives know better than those scientists, don't you?
@gfkdsgn I mean, I know what the data says... Why don't you enlighten me with how you think 5.6 billion vaccinated people fared with the vaccine they received?
Most likely you @municipaladhesives still think that a negative PCR test has an important meaning, don't you?
Maybe you won't appreciate what it's inventor had to say about the "official covid test"...

@gfkdsgn

This is the guy who believed in astrology and said he had an encounter with an extraterrestrial in the form of a fluorescent raccoon.

He was a denialist re: human involvement in climate change and ozone layer depletion, and he also questioned the scientific validity of the link between HIV and AIDS, despite never having done any scientific research on either subject.

Please fuck off with this bullshit.

Wikipedia says it was a talking fluorescent raccoon that *might* have been an extraterrestrial. The man is a scientist and required further data before he could reach a conclusion.

If so, and taking in consideration that this person, that you try to portrait as a mad man, I wonder why you're defending the credibility of his invention so hard? Pls, explain if you can
@gfkdsgn @RD4Anarchy @municipaladhesives

I have never spoken to you before in my life and have no idea what you’re talking about.
@HeavenlyPossum
Feel free to keep it like that. Seems like someone added you into this conversation.
