•At the WSIS+10 they talked about "enhanced cooperation", which completely failed to bring states into existing processes or strengthen internet governance.
Now as the WSIS+20 approaches they talk about "digital cooperation" as a replacement for internet governance. I have a hunch that this time states won't be sitting this one out.

The status as of today is that in 2025, the UN Internet Governance Forum (IGF 2025) is to be held in #Russia. If this country, ruled by ((already officially prosecuted)) #war #criminals , has just assumed the presidency of the #UNSC then I guess there is nothing inappropriate for it to host such a forum, right ?
