FFmpeg has the ability to create a waveform image from an audio file. But the default colors are a bit exotic. The "showwavespic=s=1920x1080" option in the command sets the image size.

A w ogóle to mam jeszcze jeden pomysł. Chciałam jechać do Andaluzji na dwa tygodnie, może wczesną wiosną albo na jesieni w przyszłym roku, jak jest raczej 24 stopnie niż 40. Kordoba, Kadyks, Malaga, w Grenadzie już byłam, ale mogę jeszcze raz, bo jest przepiękna. Taki roadtrip z wypożyczeniem auta i noclegami w jakichś w miarę cywilizowanych warunkach. Na dwa tygodnie. No i chyba szukam towarzystwa. Mówię po hiszpańsku, trochę znam kulturę i historię regionu, mogę opowiadać. Trochę bym chciała zwiedzać, trochę pojeździć po jakichś małych dziurach, gdzie nie ma za dużo turystów, posiedzieć se czasem na plażce i poczytać książkę. Mogę ogarniać rzeczy, mogę tłumaczyć, itd. Może ktoś by chciał ze mną pojechać? Ale tak na totalnym czilu, bo ja jednak mam to ADHD i ten autyzm i się szybko męczę i przebodźcowuję i nie lubię jak się mnie wkurwia niepotrzebnie. 😝

0, I know that. But OP was talking about EU budget getting shifted from FOSS to AI. What I was (not entirely serious) saying is that rather than asking money to do X, one probably need to ask for money to do "AI thing A, which incidentally involves X".

Każda uczelnia/szkoła policealna wyróżnia się innymi zasadami. U mnie niestety było tak, że większość nauczycieli grupowała się na Facebooku, ale po wynegocjowaniu warunków udało mi się ich przekonać, żeby wysyłali mi zestawienia materiałów mailem. Dodatkowo udało mi się zachęcić co niektórych znajomych do założenia takiego Signala, choć gdybym mógł się wrócić do przeszłości, przemyślałbym opisanego w powyższym poście Matrixa.

Het streven is om Mastodon Overheid vanaf 2025 aan te bieden aan alle overheidsorganisaties (en alle overheidslagen) als een gemeenschappelijke voorziening van de overheid. Zo draagt het bij aan de vermindering van verspreiding van desinformatie, en aan de afname van afhankelijkheid van commerciële sociale media platformen. Organisers this year appeared to take considerable efforts to hide the exact location of WBS 2024…
On June 22, the Telegram page of co-organisers Tulenväki published a video from the previous weekend’s event and Bellingcat immediately downloaded the video to analyse it. It was then taken down and reuploaded with structures in the background blurred.
Bellingcat found images from a campground in the northeastern part of the Pirkanmaa region, in the municipality of Ruovesi, that showed a similar-looking green house to the one that had been blurred in the re-uploaded video.
Further imagery of the campground found on social media showed more angles of the house and the features matched exactly the house briefly seen in the video, indicating it was indeed the same property.
A light-brown cabin, visible in a video of a combat fight, can also be seen in user-uploaded footage from the Ruovesi campground, along with a large boulder that is also visible in the fight footage.
Interior photos from the event also match imagery of the campground on social media, from light fixtures to knots in the wood on the wall. This confirmed that this was the location of WBS 2024.
The campground was approximately 150 kilometres away from the locations of WBS 2023 and 2022.
The Saturday of the event featured combat sports in a makeshift outdoor ring, during which some participants displayed flags of their local far-right group. The combat sports events were hosted by Veren Laki (‘Law of Blood’), one of WBS’ co-organisers.

WBS 2024 also featured neo-Nazi bands. One band, previously known as the ‘Hammer House Band,’ is a regular at a venue affiliated with the Finnish branch of the Hammerskins, an international neo-Nazi network whose German branch was banned by authorities in September 2023.
When asked if the Ruovesi municipality (where the campground was based) was aware of the neo-nazi ran event, a representative responded “No information about the matter, persons nor the events have come to me. A private person made the reservation that weekend.”
In the wake of WBS 2024, organisers and supporters took to social media to boast about their future plans. One supportive post from a Finnish neo-Nazi blog promised “there will be more to come,” from a fourth version of WBS in 2025 to other gigs across the country.

Seems a bit sloppy. Tesla didn't invent AC power or the induction motor. What he did (co-)invent was the "AC commutator-free polyphase induction motor"--a tremendous invention (but also proved difficult to commercialize). He also didn't invent radio or X-rays, maybe say he made important contributions to? Tesla was a genius, but don't take away from the contributions of those before him!

Will have to try this! Last time I needed to sign a PDF, I tried all the libre options I could find, but nothing worked. When I finally broke down and tried with official Adobe™ Acrobat™ for Windows™ on a friends PC, even that didn't work and I just ended up printing and physically signing the damned thing.
