Czasami czuję się jak w romansie niskich lotów: skandale, codziennie skandale. W okresie przedwyborczym, który już nam się zaczął, pewnie ich przybędzie. Ostatnia afera z Radosławem Sikorskim w roli głównej pokazuje, że mamy równych i równiejszych. Niejasna zależność finansowa Sikorskiego cieszy wszystkich tych, którzy się zastanawiali, jak wybronić Obajtka – i proszę, taka gratka, można społeczną złość przekierować na platformersów. Tylko czy to jeszcze jest demokracja?

Skandale, ach, skandale. Jak dobrze, że na horyzoncie pojawił się Radosław Sikorski i jego niejasne relacje z Sir Bani Yas Forum! Wyborcy PiS-u i anty-Platformy na pewno się ucieszą, gdy podliczą, ile Sikorski mógł zarobić na tych kontaktach. W mediach już się mówi o dwóch milionach złotych, a brzmi to tak cudownie bulwersująco. Właśnie aktywuje się medialnie „skandal”, „nadużycie”, „zachłanność i kłamstwa Platformy”. Źli, podli, bogaci i zarabiający – rzecz jasna, ci z Platformy. Wiadomo, jeśli progresywnie, to zła lewica, jeśli na bogato, to zła Platforma, a na koniec i tak wszystkiemu winien Tusk, niemiecki okupant, no i oczywiście zdegenerowana wyimaginowana wspólnota.

Kampania przedwyborcza hula na całego. Trzeba by jednak spojrzeć na sprawę nieco głębiej. Twardy elektorat PiS-u, zwolennicy tej partii i podobnych do niej partyjek objawiają mentalność bardzo niebezpieczną nie tylko dla naszego narodu, ale również dla samej demokracji. Jest to mentalność nie tyle podziału (gorszy sort i panowie) czy antagonizmów (źli eurofile i dobrzy patrioci), ile mentalność wybiórczej, selektywnej wręcz moralności. Gdy skandale z Morawieckim w roli głównej rozlewały się po Polsce, a majątek i dziwny tryb nabycia nieruchomości przez premiera zajmowały dziennikarzy i dziennikarki, sympatycy PiS-u nawet nie drgnęli. Skandalu nie było, w myśl zasady „nasz chłop, niech się dorobi” albo „nasz chłop, to mu się należy”. Kaczą wieżą w Warszawie też nikt oprócz paru prawników i dziennikarzy się nie przejął. Od 2015 roku praktycznie co chwilę wybucha jakiś skandal à la Obajtek, a dla wyborców i sympatyków PiS niewiele to znaczy. Wystarczy za to jeden artykuł w holenderskiej gazecie, by Sikorski został wytypowany na złoczyńcę roku.

Oczywiście trzeba wyjaśnić, co robił Radosław Sikorski w radzie programowej Sir Bani Yas Forum, jakie są jego powiązania z ministerstwem spraw zagranicznych Zjednoczonych Emiratów Arabskich i czy nie wpływa to na jego działanie w Parlamencie Europejskim. Skoro jest się europosłem, trzeba odpowiednio sprawować funkcje, które nie obciążają pracy na rzecz wspólnoty europejskiej. Dziennikarką śledczą ani prokuratorką nie jestem, więc czekam na ustalenia. Rzecz jednak nie w tym, co robił Sikorski, jak się zachował i ile zarabiał. Chodzi o to, że Radosław Sikorski, polityk rozpoznawalny, ze znacznymi wpływami i dużym dorobkiem politycznym, jest człowiekiem Platformy Obywatelskiej. I tu wybiórcza moralność daje o sobie znać. Według propisowskiej narracji Obajtek nigdy nic złego nie uczynił, w niczym też nie uchybił Morawiecki ani inni prominentni naciągacze i krętacze PiS-u. Obowiązuje reguła: „Kto jest z nami, ten jest poza prawem, a kto jest przeciwko nam, niech się strzeże, bo może się okazać, że łamie prawo (nawet gdy go nie łamie)”.

Problem naszej zaburzonej demokracji, naszej pełzającej dyktatury, tkwi właśnie w takiej wybiórczości moralnej i prawnej. Dobrze funkcjonujące państwo nie ocenia przynależności do grup społecznych, politycznych, etnicznych czy religijnych. Prawo ma być przestrzegane przez wszystkich, podobnie jak zasady moralne. Gdy jednak państwo zaczyna się chwiać, gdy pełzająca dyktatura coraz bardziej pogrąża je w bezprawiu i chaosie, zanika samo poszanowanie prawa. Przepaska na oczach Temidy oznacza, że w sądzie nie ma równych i równiejszych. Jeżeli ta zasada zostaje złamana i jednych stawia się w stan oskarżenia, a drugich z góry usprawiedliwia niezależnie od ich winy czy jej braku, to kończy nam się demokracja.

Sikorski winny czy niewinny? Pytanie do prokuratury, tak samo jak pytanie o dziwne zarobki Obajtka i nietypową procedurę nabycia mienia przez Morawieckiego. Nieważne, kim są ci panowie, ważne, czy złamali prawo. Jak jednak mamy to rozsądzić, gdy nasza Temida od dawna siedzi w więzieniu za przestrzeganie prawa i sprzeciw wobec łamania konstytucji?

Today being the 11th day of February, 2023, I took the decision to join the OSM training after some persuasion from my friends who have been a part of this community. The training this morning opened my eyes to quiet a lot of things as it concerns the global mapping community. Before the commencement of the training, I received a T-shirt and a bag, which made me feel I was already a part of Unique Mappers Network.

I didn’t know what to expect but I can confidently say now that I am glad I took the decision to attend. In the course of the training, it came as a surprise that I was actually interested in what was being done as I started to find it educative and interesting. There were some initial difficulties I experienced especially in learning how to map a community but I didn’t let it deter me.

I gained the knowledge of what Open Street Mapping is all about, being that it deals with the local and global community at large. I learned that Open Street Map is a global map of the world that is open to the people as it is a humanitarian service geared towards helping people in need.

This evening, I joined the zoom meeting of which I gained better clarity on how to map on HOTOSM. We were encouraged towards mapping the disaster struck Turkey as a way to enable search and rescue teams have better access to buildings that may have been struck in the course of the Earthquake.

At the moment, I’ve mapped over a hundred buildings and roads In Turkey and would continue to do so with the knowledge that this is my contribution to community development and a humanitarian service to the world.

Hier ein kleines AutoHotKey Skript zur schnellen Adresserfassung. Mit F7 wird die Adresse des sich unter dem Mauszeiger befindlichen Gebäudes automatisch gesetzt. Dabei wird die letzte Hausnummer um 1 oder 2 erhöht.

Ablauf: Das erste Gebäude bearbeitet man ganz normal mit dem Adresspreset. Man setzt entweder den +1 oder +2 Button, je nach Schrittweite der Hausnummmern. Dann wandert man mit dem Mauszeiger von Haus und Haus und drückt F7.

Voraussetzungen: Das Preset “Anmerkung/Adresse” muss man sich auf Taste F10 legen. Modus muss Selektion (Taste S) sein.

Das Skript zB. als schnelle-hausnummern.ahk abspeichern und zum Starten doppelklicken.

Skierowanie przez prezydenta Dudę wniosku o sprawdzenie konstytucyjności ustawy o Sądzie Najwyższym uchwalonej przez parlament powinno się przyjąć wzruszeniem ramion. Ustawa dotyczy stanu, który w obecnych warunkach jest nie do naprawienia. Po wyborach system wymiaru sprawiedliwości trzeba będzie odbudować praktycznie od podstaw.

Wstrzymanie się większości opozycji parlamentarnej od głosu w sprawie ustawy było w pełni uzasadnione. Głosowanie przeciw oznaczało pozostawienie obecnego niekonstytucyjnego stanu, a głosowanie za stanowiło opowiedzenie się za innymi naruszeniami Konstytucji (i to nie tylko w kwestii NSA). Poprawki Senatu nie zmieniały tej sytuacji.

Uważam, że mechanizm weryfikowania niezależności sędziów, jaki przewidziano w ustawie o Sądzie Najwyższym, nie jest żadnym rozwiązaniem, nie mieści się też w zasadach państwa prawa. Pozostaje kwestia Krajowego Planu Odbudowy. Brak środków z KPO jest dla państwa przyfrontowego coraz bardziej poważnym problemem. Z punktu widzenia państwa za ten katastrofalny stan odpowiedzialni są sami rządzący.

Fatalnie, że przy okazji głosowania nad ustawą doszło do konfliktu opozycji. Był to bój bezsensowny. Jedynym sposobem przywrócenia państwa prawa jest przytłaczające zwycięstwo w wyborach parlamentarnych. Spektakl, który się rozegra u p. Przyłębskiej, będzie nam to tylko boleśnie uświadamiał.

Hi, my name is James Crawford, and I’m running for the OpenStreetMap US board.

About me

I’m a regular editor from Auburn, Alabama. I mainly contribute by editing TIGER road data, importing from external sources, POI surveying, street level imagery coverage, and backcountry trail details. I’ve been active on OSM for over 2 years, and I love keeping in touch with the US community about mapping efforts across the country, and I like seeing community leaders that are active in public forums, and are willing to mingle with their mapping peers.

My current priorities for OSM are as follows:

1: Encouraging the coordination of importing high quality data from external datasets. There are numerous datasets from government agencies in the United States with permissible licensing for use with OpenStreetMap. These datasets provide useful information about a variety of objects mapped in OpenStreetMap, and save huge amounts of time over having mappers collect the data redundantly. It is important to be in touch with the community when coordinating data imports, and it is important to be in touch with government agencies so that we can be more aware of available data that is free to use.

2: Prioritizing focus towards what OSM is useful for. OpenStreetMap defeats commercial competitors in the predictable niche- where there is a demand for geospatial data but no lucrative monetary return. Trails and public land data make a good example. Outdoor enthusiasts have a demand for accurate and low cost map data, but large scale commercial map providers have no commercial incentive to allocate resources towards maintaining this kind of data.

I’m a big fan of outreach, and I’m not a fan of the idea of serving on the board without having meaningful communication with the community. I manage a local community myself, and I love keeping in touch about mapping activities!
